Yes, the Sikkim Skill University (SSU) has registered private students in accordance with the Sikkim Government's notification of the SSU Act, SSU Statutes, and SSU Regulations. The University Grants Commission (UGC) in New Delhi has stated that no authorization from the UGC or the Distance Education Bureau (DEB) in New Delhi is necessary to register Private (External) Students.

Students can apply through both Online and Offline modes. Sikkim Skill University online forms are easy to access by simple steps. And If candidates wish to fill the form offline then the application form will be available in the download section.
SSU accepts applications from students from all around the world. Students can apply at any time between January and July. Because each course has a limited number of seats, we encourage applying as soon as possible.

Yes, Sikkim Skill University is providing a concession as a scholarship.
Yes, we provide scholarships in followings manners:
- The University encourages meritorious students to participate by providing a scholarship in the form of a fee reduction for the duration of the programme, as outlined below. To deter talent migration from Sikkim, such scholarships are available to all students residing in the state.
- 30% for all male students enrolled in any programme, with the exception of Bachelor PCI, BCI, and having received more than 80% in their qualification examination.
- All male students enrolling in any programme, excluding Bachelor PCI, BCI, and with grades in the range of 70-80 percent in their qualification examination, will receive a 20% discount.
- 30% for all male students enrolled in any programme, with the exception of Bachelor PCI, BCI, and having received more than 70% in their qualification examination.
- All male students enrolled in any programme, excluding Bachelor PCI, BCI, and having marks in the range of 60-70 percent in their qualification examination, will receive a 20% discount.
- All students residing in Sikkim are eligible for a 10% discount if they can show proof of address, such as an Aadhar card, passport, or driver's license. (Be prepared for Conical Curses).
Yes, students who have excelled in athletic activities at both the national and state levels are eligible for a Sports Scholarship.
Sikkim Skill University assists deserving/meritorious students in obtaining financial aid to further their study.
Students from all around the nation, as well as from abroad, are accommodated in the University in a convenient manner.
Applicants will be needed to provide the following papers to their appointment:
- Application form for Admission.
- If applicable, a photocopy of your bachelor's degree.
- 12th grade marksheet photocopy.
- A photocopy of the tenth-grade report card.
- Photocopy of photo identification (Aadhar Card, Pan Card, or Passport).
- Original Payment Receipt for Registration.
- 4 Passport Size Photographs.
